I would not recommend McClellan Veterinary Clinic based on my experience. I brought my 6-year-old dog in for an exam and vaccinations. My dog has always done well with veterinary exams. Unfortunately, some members of the staff appeared extremely uncomfortable around him. One staff member entered the room with a muzzle, panicked when my dog approached her, hit the door while backing away, and ran out, leaving the door wide open. During his first shot, my dog yelped and moved, and the doctor jumped back, leaving the needle hanging in my dog's rear. I had to remove it myself. After we got home, my dog became unable to use his back legs. I called the clinic and was told this was "normal." Thankfully, he began walking again after about four hours, but he was in pain for days. He has since recovered. I was also told by the doctor, the front desk, and the vet tech that I could call in medication for his recurring ear infections if they returned. When I actually needed the medication, I spent four days calling the office, only to eventually be told I had to bring him back in. I left the visit without my dog having a proper examination because the doctor appeared afraid of him, even with the muzzle now on, yet I was still charged for a full exam. This was an extremely stressful experience for both me and my dog. Based on what happened, I will not be returning and normally I would encourage other pet owners to ask very specific questions about how this clinic handles dogs they are uncomfortable treating, but this office was not honest with me so use your better judgement.

Had to go for bloodwork for my dog. The staff are really helpful, honest and I felt they took my concerns into consideration. From front desk to techs to vet - knowledgeable & understanding. Can recommend using their practice and I will be returning in February! Thank you!!
