Absolutely do NOT take your cat (or any other animal) to this practice, please. My fiance just took our male cat there for behavioral issues as well as nausea and territory marking a few days ago, and instead of addressing those issues directly, the vet said they would do an x-ray to see if there were any serious issues. That was all fine and well - some issues absolutely require an x-ray - but after the x-ray, my fiance was NOT informed about the results. Instead, they brought the cat out and said, "We gave him an enema." There was NO CONSENT, either given by my fiance, or given by me via phone call, for ANY procedure to be performed besides the x-ray. No one even saw the x-ray beside the vet, so, we truly don't know if anything was that seriously wrong. The vet offered almost no insight into how to help this cat. Instead, he was shoved BACK into his carrier post-enema, where he promptly pooped all over the place. My fiance asked for our cat to be cleaned, and was REFUSED this at first. He called me and I said no, we will not bring home a cat covered in fecal matter from a procedure he did not need - and that we NEVER consented to. My fiance took him back in, and they cleaned our cat - but left him soaking wet and the carrier dirty. We threw out the carrier. Since then, our cat has been pooping EVERYWHERE, uncontrollably. He didn't need an enema; everything coming out is liquid. There's nothing severely wrong or obstructed; he was poisoned. All of our rugs have liquid fecal matter all over it. We are stepping in poop constantly. The cat has been acting worse and not eating. He is sick. NOT asking consent to do a medical procedure on our animal is cruelty. This vet owes us a new carrier, a full house clean, and more. I WILL be reaching out for compensation after this cruel atrocity that is making us throw out clothing, buy more litter boxes, run myriad loads of laundry, constantly go through Clorox wipes and paper towels, and, you know, destroy the well-being of our cat. DO NOT GO TO THIS VET.
